What Do You Think of IVF?

Last year, when I was setting up a schedule for my LIT booster with Dra. Carol, she mentioned that Hubby and I could consider IVF.

Missing My Godchild

Seven years ago, our family was introduced to a new born baby girl named Jamie. We are not related to this baby. My father knew the baby's father in his recreational activity that involves roosters. :)

A Mystery that is Called Pregnancy

I consider pregnancy as a mystery. Some get pregnant in a heartbeat and at the other side of the coin, there are those who try for years and years but still don't get that two parallel lines in a pregnancy test. Despite millions of information, books and researches about how to get pregnant, despite the expensive fertility treatments, there are still couples who struggle with conceiving.

What Made My Heart Melt

Hubby just signed his employment contract with a new employer. His joining date is next week. Tentative. Hopefully, the date on the contract would be delayed so we could still have a few days to be together.

Out of His Mind

Over the weekend, my husband went to the dermatologist to have his skin tags removed. Cauterization is needed to get rid of those unsightly skin tags. I accompanied him for emotional support 'coz you know, he's afraid of needles.

Phoenix-like

Hello, TTC warriors!

I feel like this blog is like the mythical bird Phoenix. It lives, it dies and burns, and is then reborn. Over and over and over. Sometimes I'm on a writing spree, sometimes I don't write anything at all!

Anyway, for those who are curious as to whether we got pregnant, unfortunately, we didn't. (All together now: awwwww!) Yeah, we're discouraged after we had our third IUI last February at St. Luke's Global. I was disheartened after the procedure wasn't successful after all the medications and tests I went through. After all the psyching up, the inspirational stories of other TTC couples who finally got pregnant, after everything that we did...and all for nothing.

We might be discouraged right now, but we're not hopeless. My husband keeps reminding me that even if we're not able to have our own child, the important thing for him is that we're happy together, still in love despite the struggles we've been through.

So, as always, keep the faith. There may be lots of trying times in each of our own TTC journey, but I'm hopeful that we will all have our own beautiful endings.
