Power Breakfast

This is my morning meal. It's muesli with a tablespoon each of wheatgerm (for folic acid) and flaxseed meal (for fiber). I add honey and cinnamon to make this mug of breakfast more delicious. It looks murky but it's delicious and very healthy!

As a rice-eating country it would be hard to imagine not eating this staple in the morning. But I've learned to love muesli. At first, my jaws hurt eating this stuff. Since muesli is made of seeds, nuts and oats, you have to really chew before swallowing. I'm not used to it! Unlike when eating rice where you can easily swallow each spoonful.

It took awhile before I was able to concoct a perfect combination for my morning meal. Now I'm happy.
